I am working with the RMD-X8 with the RS485 communication protocol. This motor has a command to set a new zero position for the encoder, which means that if I send the motor to zero, it will go to said position (home). However, once I turn the motor off and then turn it on, the motor does not go to the position that I have set. The same happens if the position of the motor has been change while it was turned off. Can anyone help me to figure out how to make the motor go back to the defined home position? Thank you,

I cannot connect my RMD-X8 to MyActuatorGui 2.1 but I can do it using the RMD V2.0. Every time I try ti open the serial communication port in the former, the program tells me that the device does not respond. However, when I use the latter, I am able to connect to the device and test the motor. Can anybody help me with this?
